A Bloom Among Hearts

Pralayjeet Banerjee (Kolkata)

In a room of golden, gentle light,
Where walls wear sunshine, soft and bright,
Five hearts converge in warmth and grace,
Each smile a star, each gaze a place.

A moment still, a moment pure,
Of thanks unspoken, hearts demure—
A bouquet passed from hand to hand,
Like friendship’s bloom, a quiet stand.

The man in white, both calm and tall,
Receives their gesture, feels it all.
The petals speak what words may miss:
A bond, a cheer, a silent kiss.

The women glow in colors bold,
In every glance, a story told.
Of lives entwined through time and care,
Of kindness freely offered there.

No stage, no throne, no crown in sight,
Just simple love in gentle light.
And in this act so small, so sweet,
We see where grace and people meet.
