Urgent meeting held in Asansol

Jyoti Prakash Mukherjee, Asansol, Paschim Bardhaman -: 

       An important meeting was held on the Barakar-Purulia road under the chairmanship of Asansol Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Sadar) Biswajit Bhattacharya and in the presence of AMC Secretary Krishnendu Mandal, Executive Engineer, PWD Civil, EE MED, ACP Traffic, EE AMC and high-ranking officials of the sub-division administration.

         The concerned authorities have promised to complete the work of laying MED pipeline in the 7 km. section of the road from Niamatpur to Dishargar Ghat within 1 month. After the work of that specific section is completed, PWD Civil will start the work of repairing that road. Traffic authorities have been advised to be vigilant to ensure minimal disruption to vehicular movement during the work. MED, PWD and AMC will conduct joint inspections from time to time to monitor the situation.
