An important meeting was held at the office of Asansol Sub-Divisional Officer (Sadar), Biswajit Bhattacharya, under his chairmanship. The meeting discussed in detail the Asansol Sub-Division level sports competition to be held on December 27th at NC Lahiri High School in Dhadka, Asansol. It is learned that schools from 8 circles of the Asansol subdivision will participate in this competition. Approximately 500 students will participate in a total of 34 events. This competition has already been held at the circle level. Now it is being held at the Sub-Divisional level. After this, the district-level competition will be organized.
Among others present at the meeting were Asansol Municipal Corporation MMIC Gurudas Chatterjee, Subrata Adhikari, officials from the Paschim Bardhaman CMO’s office and representatives from the Fire Brigade and Police departments.
